In this online course, students will develop and apply coding skills in the process of designing and creating their own programs. Within a fun, creative environment the course aims to instil an interest in computer science and develop skills such as problem-solving, design and spatial reasoning with a variety of tools that can be applied to a variety of subjects.
We are seeking an exceptional Unity teacher to design and deliver a one-week coding camp to multiple groups for our Junior and Middle School students for the upcoming 2021-22 academic year (contingent upon sufficient enrolment for each camp).
You understand the importance of inquiry-based and problem-based approaches to learning and have a comfort level with coding languages such as Unity. You have a sound understanding of coding expectations.
Your creative approach energizes pre-adolescents and you are adept at differentiating instruction and approaches to learning adeptly in an online environment to meet the needs of all participants.
